Mallrats. Everyone (or possibly the majority of people) knows that one person who seems to spend all their time at the mall. Which is basically what a Mallrat is. This film is one of the first in which Jay and Silent Bob show up, although they are mostly supporting characters, and yet play a prominent role.
This is about a guy, named T.S., whose girlfriend tells him she will be appearing on her father's game show because the contestant he did have in mind died (it's a bit more complex than that, but that's the gist of it.)
His best friend, Brodie, whom his girlfriend broke up with that morning in a poem, which I thought was highly classical. I enjoyed the fact that he then spends most of the day trying to win her back, and does so successfully at the end of the movie. I also enjoy that Brodie is a huge comic book collector/geek of ultimate proportions.
Of course, during all of this, Brodie and T.S. face a lot of obstacles, one of which is T.S.'s girlfriend's father trying to frame them with drugs and get them kicked out of the mall and possibly arrested.
