Ed and His Dead Mother (1993)

This movie answers that age old question of "What would you be willing to do if you lost a loved one?" Of course, Ed's mother has died, and because he was, for lack of a better term, a mama's boy. He misses her fiercely and feels that if he could somehow bring her back he would be fine.

That's not the case, however, as Ed finds out when he does manage to bring his mother back from the dead with the help of a rather shady salesman. Ed's mother becomes very jealous of his blooming relationship with the beautiful girl next door who he thinks is a real person. It turns out the girl is an actress, and that making Ed fall in love with her was an assignment that turned real when she realized she had feelings for him.
During all of this, Ed's uncle was living with him after his mother died. Ed thinks his uncle is a bit of a pervert, because he does have a telescope with which he watches their new neighbor girl.

The best part of this movie is when Ed's mother is in the refrigerator in order to keep her body from decomposing.
