Clueless doesn't seem like it would be included as a cult film. It seems more like it would be a teen girl film to watch during a Friday night movie night with her friends. I personally think that this movie has some gems in it, due to the fact that the seemingly vapid main character is actually rather mature and intelligent.
Of course, I still think of her as a spoiled rich kid at the beginning of the movie, but she then turns out rather well when she decides to go to college and she gets involved with the son of her father's ex wife. It sounds bad, but there is no blood relation between the two, so it's ok, but still somewhat strange.
The funniest part is the fact that the main character is trying to win over a boy from her high school and instead she charms the ex wife's son, while unknowingly she is also falling for him.
